STUDENT STRINGS
This program provides an opportunity for middle and high school string players to work with members of Caramoor's Ernst Stiefel Quartet -in-Residence during both the fall and spring semesters.

"Since our trip to Caramoor, I have been making an extra effort to practice
my violin every day for as long as I can. The music the quartet played was music from the heart, and I hope that one day my music can be just as moving.

- 7th grade student

THE PROGRAM INCLUDES:

  • An in-school "Concert and Conversation" with the quartet
  • A clinic at Caramoor for selected students
  • Vouchers for free tickets for students and half price tickets for their families to attend the quartet's concert

BEFORE THE VISIT:
Through conversations with quartet members, teachers help design the content of the workshop.
