The first of five programs devoted to Caramoor's new Latin American Music Initiative, Sonidos Latinos. This initiative, made possible by generous support from the New York State Music Fund, will span two years and sprang from a vision to bring Latin American music, often underrepresented in serious classical music venues, to a position of importance commensurate to the growing prominence and influence of Latin American culture in our society.

Discover all the aspects of Caramoor during one extraordinary day-long showcase of the best the Festival has to offer, including first-ever concerts in the Tapestry Hedge and Sunken Garden. The day features strolling players, the opportunity to visit the House Museum and picnic in the gardens, and family events for all ages. The Caramoor Cavalcade culminates with a concert by the Orchestra of St. Luke's with Michael Barrett, featuring the world premiere of Paquito D'Rivera's Concerto for Double Bass, Clarinet/Alto Saxophone, and Orchestra (Conversations with Cachao).
