SPOOKY & GHOSTLY POTION TEA FOR KIDS
AT CARAMOOR'S HOUSE MUSEUM, OCTOBER 26

Katonah, NY - Caramoor's House Museum will become one of Westchester County's most haunted houses for a Spooky & Ghostly Potion Tea for youngsters.  The event recommended for children ages 3 to 8 will take place on Friday, October 26 from 3:00 to 4:30 pm.

Youngsters are encouraged to wear costumes and prizes will be awarded - with every child winning a prize!  Professional storyteller Jonathan Kruk will give a riveting performance of spooky (but not scary) Halloween tales followed by a special brew (hot cider) and other ghostly treats.

Jonathan Kruk earned a Masters at New York University's renowned educational theater program. He is the Historic Hudson Valley's "Legend of Sleepy Hollow Storyteller." At this event he'll offer young children spooky stories of goblins, ghosts, and the witch who puts the happy into Halloween.

Tickets

Tickets for Spooky & Ghostly Potion Tea must be purchased in advance and are $29, children 8 and under $20.  For tickets call the Caramoor Box Office at 914.232.1252 or visit www.caramoor.org

About Caramoor

Caramoor is the legacy of Walter and Lucie Rosen, who built the great house and filled it with their treasures.  Walter Rosen was the master planner for the Caramoor estate, bringing to reality his dream of creating a place to entertain friends from around the world.  Their musical evenings were the seeds of the annual summertime Caramoor International Music Festival, as well as the Fall and Spring musical programs held in their former home, now the House Museum.  Realizing the pleasure their friends took in the beauty of Caramoor - the house with its art collection, the gardens, and the musical programs - the Rosens established a Foundation to open Caramoor to the public in perpetuity.

Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts is located at 149 Girdle Ridge Road, Katonah, New York.
