All of the wedding planning books will tell you that you’re supposed to shop around when looking for your venue. When we searched online for “garden wedding,” Caramoor came up and we didn’t hesitate to call to make an appointment. Just speaking by phone to Christine Bosco, who coordinates wedding events at Caramoor, had us convinced that this was the place. We visited on a rainy Spring day. Even in a downpour, the Sunken Garden and the rest of the grounds were magical and romantic. We put down the deposit instantly and thankfully never had to set foot in a cookie-cutter banquet hall. Christine’s passion for Caramoor was infectious; and she was professional and reassuring from day one through the end of our wedding day.

If you want a wedding day that you and your guests will never forget, you have to see Caramoor. Our guests could not stop raving about how the Sunken Garden made ours one of the most unique, touching ceremonies they have seen. The Italian Pavilion and the reception tent created warm, inspired spaces unlike anything we’ve ever experienced. Caramoor’s catering partner, Great Performances, made it so easy to plan an incredibly distinct menu and the wait staff miraculously attended to every detail while being invisible. It’s phenomenal to know that our married life started on such an amazing high note. Bravo!
