Fall Festival Gala Friday, September 23, 2011 Caramoor celebrated the return of the New York Philharmonic with a Fall Festival Gala on Friday, September 23rd. The Philharmonic’s dynamic Music Director, Alan Gilbert, and young violin phenom Augustin Hadelich shaped a sumptuous program featuring Mozart’s last violin concerto and Beethoven’s heroic 3rd Symphony. After the concert, guests enjoyed a fall-inspired dinner, prepared by Great Performances, in the cozy, autumnally decorated Reception Tent. Gala co-chairs Patricia and Edward Falkenberg and guests helped raise nearly $200,000 to help Caramoor continue enriching the lives of its audiences through innovative and diverse musical performances of the highest quality. | | | Gala co-chair Patricia Falkenberg and Michael Barrett | Zarin Mehta, President and Executive Director of New York Philharmonic | Dinner Tent | |
