Getting here is simple by car, train or public transportation. Parking is easy & free.

Our street address is 149 Girdle Ridge Road in Katonah, NY 10536 and we are centrally located in northern Westchester County. Approximate drive times are: one hour northeast of New York City; 35 minutes from southern Westchester and the river towns; 20 minutes from Ridgefield, Connecticut; 20 minutes from Greenwich; 25 minutes from Stamford; an hour from Woodstock, NY; and close to the rest of the Hudson Valley.

Parking is free!

All parking is free and close to the performance areas. Reserved parking in prime areas is available at some performances as a benefit of  Caramoor Membership  at certain levels. Handicapped parking is also free and readily available.

By Car from I-684

Take I-684 to Exit 6 (Katonah). Go east on Route 35 to the traffic light (.3 mile). Turn right onto Route 22 south, and travel 1.9 miles (past the Katonah Museum of Art, the Harvey School, and the John Jay Homestead) to the junction of Girdle Ridge Road where you’ll see a green Caramoor sign. At the junction, veer left and make a quick right onto Girdle Ridge Road. Continue on Girdle Ridge Road 0.5 miles to the Caramoor gates on the right.  Detailed driving directions from other locations are below.

By Train

From Grand Central Station take the Harlem Division Line of the Metro North Railroad heading to Southeast, and exit at Katonah. For current information, check the Metro North schedule.

Take the Henry Hudson Parkway north to the Saw Mill River Parkway north to I-684 north to Exit 6. Follow By Car from I-684 directions above.
From Long Island: From the Throgs Neck Bridge: Go over the Throgs Necks Bridge and take I-95 north to I-287 west to I-684 north to Exit 6. Follow By Car directions above. From the Whitestone Bridge: Go over the Whitestone Bridge and take the Hutchinson River Parkway to I-684 north to Exit 6. Follow By Car from I-684 directions above.

From New Jersey:

From the Tappan Zee Bridge: Go over the Tappan Zee Bridge and take I-287 east to the Saw Mill River Parkway north to I-684 north to Exit 6. Follow By Car from I-684  directions above. From Albany:

Take I-87 south. Take the Route 17K exit, Exit 17, toward I-84 Newburgh/Stewart Airport. Go one mile and merge onto I-84 east toward Beacon. Go 31.5 miles to Exit 20S towards White Plains and merge onto I-684 south. Take I-684 south to Exit 6. Follow By Car from I-684  directions above.

From Connecticut:

Take I-84 west to I-684 south to Exit 6. Follow By Car from I-684 directions above.

Or take I-95 south to I-287 west to I-684 north to Exit 6. Follow By Car from I-684 directions above.

From Greenwich:

Take North Street or Round Hill Road through Banksville to the intersection of Route 22. Turn right onto Route 22 north, through Bedford Village. Continue to the junction of Girdle Ridge Road, with a green Caramoor sign. Turn right onto Girdle Ridge Road and continue .5 mile to the Caramoor gates on the right.

From Stamford:

Take Long Ridge Road or High Ridge Road north to Route 172. Turn left onto Route 172 to Bedford Village and turn right onto Route 22 north through the Village. Follow Route 22 to the junction of Girdle Ridge Road, with a green Caramoor sign. Turn right onto Girdle Ridge Road and continue .5 mile to the Caramoor gates on the right.
