Due to the extension of New York on PAUSE, no work on the campus renovation projects were undertaken at Caramoor until the end of May 2020. However, this provides us with an opportunity to let you know about the exciting work that had been taking place off-campus on a key new piece of the Friends Field and Venetian Theater entrance landscape — a signature piece of sound art by Trimpin, in“C”.
It has been 4 years since our In the Garden of Sonic Delights exhibition and sound art at Caramoor remains strong and growing! Sonic Innovations Artistic Director Stephan Moore shares the works to discover this year including two new-to-Caramoor works which will be joining two works familiar to Caramoor audiences.

We are so excited to kick off our ground-breaking sound art exhibition, In the Garden of Sonic Delights, tomorrow with a day long celebration! The day will feature performances by Francisco López, Evidence (a collaboration between Stephan Moore and Scott Smallwood), and Eli Keszler; a panel discussion with Sonic Delights artists and featuring panel moderator and esteemed curator, Barbara London; guided tours; and an evening Twilight Soundwalk led by Sonic Delights artist, Bob Bielecki.
