Roots Music in the Music Room welcomes The Small Glories, a dynamic new folk/roots collaboration with Cara Luft – co-founder of The Wailin’ Jennys – on banjo, guitar & vocals, and JD Edwards on guitar, harmonica, & vocals. Based in Winnipeg, Canada, they are set to release their debut album in early 2016, featuring original and traditional materials that focus on their high octane and powerful vocal blend, harmonies, and stellar musicianship. Multi-instrumentalist singer/songwriter Joe Crookston returns to Caramoor and opens the show with his riveting songwriting and playing.

An all-audience Afterglow Reception with wine, beer, and nibbles will follow the performance!

An Apprentice Artist for our Bel Canto opera program, soprano Kelly Smith Slawson ushers in the spring season through song accompanied by Derrick Goff, Assistant Chorus Master of the Bel Canto at Caramoor program.

The Tea is preceded by a tour of the historic Rosen House. Explore the mansion and learn the history of the Rosen family, their much loved country home and its art collection.
