Week Six Inspirations

It’s week six here at Caramoor and that means we’re closing in on the final shows of our 2014 Summer Festival. We’ve had an amazing summer full of talent, energy, new experiences and new sounds and it is not over yet!

The Festival Finale with our Artist-in-Residence, Alisa Weilerstein, Orchestra of St. Luke’s, and Pablo Heras-Casado will close the festival after an exciting weekend featuring a recital by Alisa Weilerstein, chamber concert with Weilerstein and the Ariel Quartet, and a blow out Pat Metheny Unity Group (←→) Bruce Hornsby with Sonny Emory concert in the Venetian Theater. Our staff dug out some youtube videos to get ready for this exciting time of the summer season.

Below is a selection of our staff’s picks for inspiration and celebration! There isn’t anything out there like a Summer Festival.

Lin had a whole group of family and friends here to celebrate this milestone moment. Giving emerging musicians the opportunity to hone their skill and then inviting them to return throughout their careers to celebrate their success is what makes Caramoor so special. This is the creative oasis where musicians thrive.
