Concert Volunteer.

Be the face of Caramoor! Performance Volunteers are the first point of contact for patrons on performance days. Volunteers assist Caramoor’s front-of-house staff as audience greeters, ticket scanners, ushers, and program book distributors. Performance Volunteers are responsible for seating patrons, communicate venue policies, assisting patrons, answering questions, and providing exceptional hospitality.

Docent, Education Programs.

Lead groups of students through the historic House as part of Caramoor’s education programs. Education Docents have the opportunity to engage students from local schools in themed field trips that incorporate the House and the Rosen’s historic and international art pieces.

Gift Shop Volunteer.

If you are enthusiastic, friendly, and enjoy working with people in a retail environment, consider helping in The Rosen House Gift Shop. Our gift shop stocks local hand crafted items as well as merchandise that reflects the love and legacy of the Rosens’. While sales experience is preferable, training is provided.

Caramoor volunteers also occasionally assist with mailings and other administrative tasks. Many of our volunteers assist in multiple positions, and so can you!
