Getting to Caramoor
Caramoor is located at 149 Girdle Ridge Road, Katonah, New York 10536 in Westchester County, 40 miles northeast of New York City.
By Car - Take I-684 to Exit 6. Go east on Route 35 to the traffic light (.3 mile). Make a right turn onto Route 22 south, and travel 1.9 miles to the junction of Girdle Ridge Road. A green “Caramoor” sign is posted at this junction. Continue on Girdle Ridge Road to the Caramoor gates (.5 mile), which are located on the right. Parking is free.

By Train - From Grand Central Station, take the Harlem Division of the Metro-North Railroad to Katonah, New York. Click here for the current Train Schedule.

Dining
Picnicking during the International Music Festival Enjoy a relaxing pre-concert picnic amidst our beautiful gardens. Bring your own picnic, or order a prepared gourmet picnic from Great Performances one week in advance. Picnicking during concerts is only permitted during Al Fresco performances and each picnicker MUST have an Al Fresco concert ticket. Management reserves the right to request that any non-ticket holder leave the grounds. No cooking or post-concert picnicking is permitted. To view last season's picnic menu click here.
Symphony Court - Donors' Dining Pavilion Supporters of Caramoor at the Donor Level ($600 and above) can enjoy a relaxing prix fixe dinner in the Reception Tent near the Venetian theater on select Saturday and Sunday evenings during the International Music Festival. Concert Refreshments Sandwiches and light refreshments from Great Performances are available two hours prior to Festival concerts and Dancing at Dusk events. There are no refreshments served during Great Artists in the Music Room and Caramoor Classics concerts.

General Info
Gardens and grounds The grounds are open to the public Monday through Friday, 10:00am – 4:00pm. Admission to the grounds is free with a concert ticket. Otherwise, the fee is $10 per person payable at the Box Office. Box Office hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00am – 4:00pm. Call 914.232.1252 for more information.
Grounds open two hours prior to concert time - Arrive early – our concerts start promptly; latecomers will be seated at management’s discretion.
- Picnicking is allowed in designated areas only during the summer & fall music festival.
- No Grills or cooking equipment are allowed on the grounds of Caramoor.
- There is no eating or drinking inside the Rosen House or other concert venues.
- Pets are not permitted at Caramoor, except for animals assisting the handicapped.
Concerts at Caramoor take place rain or shine The Venetian Theater is adequately covered. Every effort will be made to have scheduled concerts remain in the Spanish Courtyard. On those occasions which inclement weather will affect the performance the concert will be moved to the Venetian Theater and all seating will become general admission. Dancing at Dusk and Sunken Garden concerts will be moved to the Reception Tent. Al Fresco listening will be provided in the Reception Tent as well.
All parking is free Reserved parking is available to Friends of Caramoor and Family Members at the Participant ($300) level and above.
