TEACHER WORKSHOPS These arts-in-education programs, held in the fall and early spring, are open to all teachers and administrators. They are designed with insightful and innovative teaching techniques to be personally enriching as well as supportive and inspirational for classroom instruction.

- Encouraging, teaching and learning through the arts across the entire school curriculum.
- Improving the quality of arts education in the schools through interaction with Caramoor.
- Providing children and those who affect their lives with the highest quality arts education; an enlightened and imaginative environment; and the finest artist educators to inspire and generate creative expression.
- Offering programs to school children throughout the metropolitan region, with a special emphasis on under-served schools.
PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED TO HELP TEACHERS MEET NY STATE STANDARDS, WHICH VARY ACCORDING TO THE PROGRAM.
- An optional Rosen House tour
- Continental breakfast and buffet lunch
- Morning presentation / discussion - often with afternoon interactive break-out sessions
- Workshop materials
BEFORE THE PROGRAM: Funding is available for qualifying schools through BOCES.
AFTER THE PROGRAM: A letter of attendance, with number of hours, is provided if needed by the school or district.
