Annual Plant Sale  Garden Courtyard Now through Saturday, May 10th, 2008 10:00am - 5:00pm daily                      Appealing to discriminating gardeners looking for the less obvious choices, Caramoor’s Annual Plant Sale features more than 100 varieties, primarily grown in Caramoor’s own greenhouse.  Highlights include a group of camellias referred to as Ice Angels, in both spring and fall-blooming varieties, which can now be grown in Zone 6; three new varieties of Brugmansia, developed by Caramoor’s Horticulturist, Clifford Dickson; tropicals, cactus, and succulents.  Also available is a limited edition of an old rose variety from Caramoor’s own gardens, with the fragrance of OId World roses!  For our young gardeners, a variety of unusual gourds, and Dill’s Atlantic Giant  pumpkin plants -- the grand-daddy of all giant pumpkins (known to attain weights over 400 lbs.) Garden accessories, including free-standing, steeple trellises, urns, troughs, and planters will also be for sale.
