Caramoor is easy to get to by car, public transportation or Caramoor Caravan.
By car: from the West Side of Manhattan or New Jersey, take the Saw Mill River Parkway north to I-684 north to the exit for Route 35/Cross River. Turn right off the exit, and at the first traffic light turn right onto Route 22 south. Travel 1.9 miles and just past the John Jay Homestead on the left bear left onto Girdle Ridge Road. The entrance to Caramoor is half a mile down on the right. By train: from Grand Central Station, take the Harlem Division of the Metro-North Railroad to Katonah, New York. Click here for the current Train Schedule. Taxi service from the station to Caramoor (five minutes away) is available by calling 914-232-4949 or 914-232-5772.
By bus: Take the Caramoor Caravan and ride comfortably in a luxury, air-conditioned coach round-trip
from Manhattan to Caramoor. This service will only be available before the opera performances on July 12th, July 18th and July 26th. More info.
Concert Refreshments: Light refreshments are served during the intermission of all Great Artists in the Music Room concerts. There are no refreshments served during Caramoor Classics concerts or during Family Music Programs.
