Vocal Rising Stars and The Terrance W. Schwab Fund for Young Vocal Artists
Based on the successful Rising Stars program, the Vocal Rising Stars program invites beginning professional-level singers to attend a week-long residency involving intensive daily coaching, rehearsals and workshops devoted to singing outside the realm of opera. This program focuses on vocal chamber music and the art of song in recital. A gift of annual support will help these young artists at a crucial time in their careers.
The Terrance W. Schwab Fund for Young Vocal Artists
Double the impact of your gift to Vocal Rising Stars with a contribution to The Terrance W. Schwab Fund for Young Vocal Artists. Created in memory of former Caramoor Trustee Terrance W. Schwab by his family, the fund is designed to nurture and support the artistic development and careers of young vocalists at Caramoor. The Terrance W. Schwab Fund allows Caramoor to offer emerging singers career development opportunities, including public performances, coaching, and collaboration with instrumentalists, composers and poets.
New contributions to the Terrance W. Schwab Fund for Young Vocal Artists will be matched dollar for dollar, through a challenge issued by a generous anonymous donor.
