Getting to Caramoor

Caramoor is located at 149 Girdle Ridge Road, Katonah, New York 10536 in Westchester County,
40 miles northeast of New York City.

By Car - Take I-684 to Exit 6. Go east on Route 35 to the traffic light (.3 mile). Make a right turn onto Route 22 south, and travel 1.9 miles to the junction of Girdle Ridge Road. A green “Caramoor” sign is posted at this junction. Continue on Girdle Ridge Road to the Caramoor gates (.5 mile), which are located on the right.

By Train - From Grand Central Station, take the Harlem Division of the Metro-North Railroad to Katonah, New York. Current Train Schedule.

From New York City: Take the Henry Hudson Parkway north to the Saw Mill River Parkway north to I-684 north to Exit 6. Turn right onto Route 35 east. (See directions below from Exit 6.); or Take the Major Deegan (NYS Thruway) to I-287 east to I-684 north to Exit 6. Turn right onto Route 35 east. (See directions below from Exit 6.)

From Long Island: From the Throgs Neck Bridge: Go over the Throgs Necks Bridge and take I-95 north to I-287 west to I-684 north to Exit 6. Turn right onto Route 35 east. (See directions below from Exit 6.); or From the Whitestone Bridge: Go over the Whitestone Bridge and take the Hutchinson River Parkway to I-684 north to Exit 6. Turn right onto Route 35. (See directions below from Exit 6.)

From New Jersey: From the Tappan Zee Bridge: Go over the Tappan Zee Bridge and take I-287 east to the Saw Mill River Parkway north to I-684 north to Exit 6. Turn right onto Route 35 east. (See directions below from Exit 6.) or From the George Washington Bridge: Go over the George Washington Bridge and take the Henry Hudson Parkway north to the Saw Mill River Parkway north to I-684 north to Exit 6. Turn right onto Route 35 east. (See directions below from Exit 6.)

From Albany: Take I-87 south. Take the Route 17K exit, Exit 17, toward I-84 Newburgh/Stewart Airport. Go one mile and merge onto I-84 east toward Beacon. Go 31.5 miles and merge onto I-684 south, Exit 20S, toward White Plains. Take Exit 6, Route 35, toward Cross River/Katonah. (See directions below from Exit 6.)

Directions from Exit 6: Get off at Exit 6 and turn onto Route 35 east. Go east on Route 35 to the traffic light (.3 mile). Make a right turn onto Route 22 south, and travel 1.9 miles to the junction of Girdle Ridge Road. A green “Caramoor” sign is posted at this junction. Continue on Girdle Ridge Road to the Caramoor gates (.5 mile), which are located on the right.

• From Greenwich: Take North Street or Round Hill Road through Banksville to the intersection of Route 22. Turn right onto Route 22 north, through Bedford Village. Continue to the intersection of Girdle Ridge Road, where a Caramoor sign directs you to turn right. The Caramoor gate is 1/2 mile down Girdle Ridge Road on the right.
  
• From Stamford: Take Long Ridge Road or High Ridge Road north to Route 172. Turn left onto Route 172 to Bedford Village and turn right onto Route 22 north through the Village. Follow Route 22 to the intersection of Girdle Ridge Road, where a Caramoor sign directs you to turn right. The Caramoor gate is 0.5 miles down Girdle Ridge Road on the right.
