Unwind with a creative evening at Caramoor in this art class for adults led by Kristen Lowe, professional ceramicist, and painter. In this class, Caramoor’s Vases and Vessels in Watercolor, take inspiration from Caramoor’s remarkable collection of vases and vessels, from grand ginger jars to classical urns and stone pitchers. Participants will study form, pattern, and design while creating a watercolor painting based on these distinctive objects.
Open to all experience levels and perfect for date night, a girls night, or a fun way to meet fellow art lovers, guests are invited to bring their favorite beverage for a relaxed and social evening. All materials and glassware are provided, and no prior experience is necessary.
Kristen Lowe is a New York–based ceramicist and painter, she holds a BFA and an MS in Art and Design Education from Pratt Institute and teaches art at John Jay High School in Katonah, NY. Her work blends classical painting techniques with contemporary approaches, exploring the connections between people, place, and history.
Young artists ages 7–10 are invited to explore their creativity at Caramoor in this hands-on art class.
