Accessibility
We strive to provide a welcoming atmosphere for everyone at Caramoor with accessible parking, entrances, and seating.

Caramoor Cares for You
We are continuously working to ensure our 81 acres of gardens and grounds, indoor and outdoor concert venues, and the center of our estate – the Rosen House – are accessible to all guests while abiding by The Americans with Disabilities Act to ensure a positive experience. Please be advised that portions of Caramoor have limited accessibility due to unpaved walkways, age, and historic integrity.
Caramoor has ample parking space available to all guests. Most parking areas are on grassy lawns with some paved lots primarily reserved for accessible parking.
If guests need assistance getting from your car to the venue, they may inform our parking staff who will be able to provide golf cart transport to the venue entrance.
Guests may request a wheelchair at the venue Box Office or by asking any Caramoor staff member. They are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Caramoor will work to provide accessible seating to anyone who requires it. For wheelchair seating, we will provide seating in spaces without a fixed chair. We encourage those with specific seating requirements to inquire with the Box Office as soon as possible, as these seats are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Accessible seating tickets can be purchased directly online, by phone, or in person.
Restrooms with accessible stalls are available at all venues during concerts and events. Our outdoor restrooms are seasonally available, May through October. At this time, we do not have companion or single-user restrooms.
The Rosen House is a historic home and is not fully accessible. Due to several steps throughout the House, only the Music Room, Dining Room, restrooms, and Summer Dining Room are wheelchair accessible. Wheelchairs and walkers are not allowed in the remainder of the House.
Outdoors, there are several paved or stone pathways for getting from place to place at Caramoor. Other areas like Cedar Walk, Tapestry Hedge, and the Sunken Garden are accessed by woodchip paths and grass. When exploring our grounds, guests will find some benches along our main Center Walk. Our Friends Field venue is entirely on grass, though it is bordered by pathways where guests may easily listen to and view the performance stage.
Assistive Listening Devices are available for many Venetian Theater performances at no charge. Guests may pick up a device at the Box Office prior to the performance. Please provide a driver’s license or other valid ID in order to borrow a device. The Box Office staff will be happy to assist in using the device if you need it.
Select concerts have printed programs which are able to be viewed on the concert webpages.
Certified service animals, as defined by the ADA, are always welcome at Caramoor. For the preservation of our grounds and safety of other visitors, non-service dogs, support animals, and other pets are not allowed at Caramoor.
First Aid and AEDs are available during tours, performances, and events. Contact any Caramoor staff member if you are in need of medical assistance. We also have an EMT on site during select days in the Summer Season. When a concert or event is not taking place, the grounds may be unstaffed, so please be prepared to call 911.
Caramoor has a quiet space open to the public that is great for taking a break from live music, resting in a cool location, or having privacy for nursing. The room has a changing table, children’s books, rocking chairs, and a table.
